The design of the School Garden Network site had to be useful above all. We used large, garden-heavy imagery, exceedingly readable typography and ample muted white space to evoke the peacefulness and competence of a well-maintained garden. A link to donate to the organization is consistently placed throughout, serving as a constant reminder without being overly promotional.
