As both Keller & Faber are enthusiastic musicians, the UnderAge website was a pleasure to produce. The core of the site’s development, its media player, is an interactive Flash and Javascript application that allows site visitors to browse and listen to the label’s music. Using this web application, it is easy to search through and visualize the UnderAge database of tracks with track information and extensive album artwork. You can listen to tracks immediately with a single click, or save them for later by sticking them in a queue. Once in the queue, the track order can be sorted by simply dragging and dropping tracks into line. Since the playback and queue functionality is all done through Ajax, the player truly offers the instant feedback of common desktop media players.
